Hi there,You cannot send as non primary proxy addresses. This is not supported. To remedy your issue you need a product like Ivasofts Choosefrom. Please see here: http://www.ivasoft.biz/choosefrom.shtmlOliverOliver Moazzezi | Exchange MVP, MCSA:M, MCTS:Exchange 2010, BA (Hons) Anim

Hi there,Did you see my previous response? What you are trying to do is not possible. Not without third party product support, of which I linked to an application that will help you.OliverOliver Moazzezi | Exchange MVP, MCSA:M, MCTS:Exchange 2010, BA (Hons) Anim

Hi again,Are you sure that other people are not using 'Send As' to send as other mail enabled directory objects?... I'm sorry but you can only send as the Primary SMTP address. For what you want to work, either use a third party product or apply the required address on another object and use Send As rights there.OliverOliver Moazzezi | Exchange MVP, MCSA:M, MCTS:Exchange 2010, BA (Hons) Anim

Hi,In Active Directory Users and Computers apply the Send As permission on the object you want to send as.Once applied, go into Outlook and select the object you want to send as from the GAL. You will need the 'from' field visible for this to work.OliverOliver Moazzezi | Exchange MVP, MCSA:M, MCTS:Exchange 2010, BA (Hons) Anim

Hi,Does the user who want to send as another user connect to exchange server using MAPI or POP3?You cannot send as in POP3 mode. But you can send on behalf in both mode.Exchange General->Delivery option->send on behalf of Frank Wang

Are you using MAPI?As stated if using POP/IMAP with SMTP you will not be able to send as an address that is not one of your proxy addresses without Exchange 2007 modification. Is this how you are sending? OliverOliver Moazzezi | Exchange MVP, MCSA:M, MCTS:Exchange 2010, BA (Hons) Anim

Hi Oliver,
I am simply using the SMTP connector to send emails. I have created two mailbox for each user like user called Nick
Accunt 1
Nick with email nick@domain1.com
Account 2:
Nick2 email nick:domain2.com
and assign the send as rights to them now if nick is logged in to his outlook using account 1:
if he tries to send email as nick:domain2.com he will get the permission error but if write account name instead of email address (nick2) then he will be able to send email successfully.
isn't there any possibility he will able to send with 2nd email address instead of 2nd account name without using any third party software or for more users without creating 2nd account for the user he/she be able to send emails from secound email address?
hope you able to get my point what i have tried to explain you.
