Hi: I can't get server 2008 to relay. I have a server 2003 setup that relays correctly to an exchange 2007 server. I am just trying to get outbound sending working. On the 2008 server all the settings of smtp are setup the same as the 2003 server. Everything is anonymous access. On the server 2008 box you can connect with telnet fine and the ehlo says ok. The server 2008 has the firewall turned off. Any suggestions? thanks, roy

Hi Roy, Would you please let me know if you telnet to Windows 2008 server and manually send a message to a mailbox on Exchange Server, any error is encountered? Mail from: xxx@domain.com Rcpt to: XXX@yourdomain.com Whether the unable to relay message is encountered? Mike
