Hi,Please check are you able to resolve MX record of those domain to whom you are sending mail from Exchange 2003 BOX if you are sending message thru feature of SMTP virtual server. As you have mentioned about problem for both recieving and sending mails from internet then you need to check property of SMTP virtual server on exchange 2003. The following are the minimum requirements for outbound mail flow: Exchange Server must have access to the Internet on port 25. This access should not be blocked by firewalls or other network settings. Anonymous connections should be allowed. The Exchange Server SMTP virtual server should be configured to use the default settings. For more information about configuring the Exchange Server SMTP virtual server, see Microsoft Knowledge Base article 266686, How to Configure a SMTP Virtual Server Part 1. The public mail exchanger (MX) resource record configured on your public Domain Name System (DNS) service should be accessible to all other Internet domains. The MX record should point to the Exchange server and must be identified before messages can be sent or received.Troubleshooting Outbound Mail Flow in Exchange Server 2003::http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996049(EXCHG.65).aspxManually Configuring Your Exchange Server for Internet Mail Delivery::http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998167(EXCHG.65).aspx *************************************************************************************************************If you are using smart host to send outgoing message then please check whether you are able to reach smart host IP.How to configure the SMTP connector in Exchange 2003 ::http://support.microsoft.com/kb/265293Anil

hi,please check your MX record as Anil said. is it correct?and if you have dynamic IP address it is normal to having this problems.what is the status of your IP address? is it static or dynamic?and did you do Reverse records for your IP address? also did you do spf record?and you can test your exchange server healthy status by running ExBPA and with telnet.try to connect your exchange server by telnet like this ; telnet realipaddress port number (25: smtp port)and check your modem or router, does it have correct routing to your exchange server (internal server)regards,Mumin CICEK | Exchange - MVP | www.cozumpark.com | www.mumincicek.com
