event 2128 & directory fails
Hi,
First please try to force DC replication.
Then please try to check event 2080,you can post the detail information here. I recommend not to use statistic DC for Exchange Servers.
Besides, I'd like to know how did you trasition CAS 07 to 10 via host file. Publishing CAS2007 via ISA with legacy URL and then configure it to CAS 2010.

Hi,
I'm having issues with some new Exchange 2010 CAS servers where clients directory connection from connection status is reconnecting every 30 minutes or so (everytime I see /Fail increase by 1). I say or so because although some of the warning
events on the exchange servers are every X minutes some clients dont get the reconnection while others do. Currently I am similating a CAS transition from 07 CAS (with ISA infront of it) to 2010 (being published by TMG) using a hosts file.
When changing the hosts file to 2010 is when these directory disconnections are occurring. The issue appears to occur on legacy users and new 2010 users. I turned up ADAccess logging on the CAS and MBX server and I am getting 2128 errors from
MSExchangeMailboxReplication.exe, edgetransport.exe and a few others. We currently have 4x DCs and when using repadmin to query the object specifically on each DC I can see the object. I tried rebooting DCs to
force connections to other's and using set-exchangeserver to manually set a DC however the events appear from every DC. I have looked at the permissions and I have no reason to believe its a permissions issue however all I have done is cast
my eye over them. Expba doesnt return anything relating to this issue.
Process MSExchangeMailboxReplication.exe () (PID=7748). Object CN=DAG1,CN=Database Availability Groups,CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=xxxx,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=xxxx was not
found on the Domain Controller Xxxxx. This may indicate a replication or permission issue.
There are 3 objects which appear in these events, the DAG and 2x 2010 public folder DBs. The mailbox DBs dont have any events.
Any help would be appreciated.
