exchange2007 and exchange2003. free busy not available for oulook2007 clients that request information from exchange2003
Hellothe setup:system 1:windows xp sp2 fully updatedoffice 2003 with latest spconnected to exchange server 2007sp1 on SITE Ai can successfully see the free/busy information from a user located on SITE B with the exchange 2003sp2system 2windows xp sp2 fully updatedoffice 2007 latest updates also.connected to exchange server 2007sp1 on SITE A (same as system1)i can't see the free/busy information from a user located on SITE B with the exchange 2003sp2.this is the error i get in the event log on the Site A (exchange2007)Process 2764[w3wp.exe:/LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT/EWS-1-128483518819375000]: Microsoft.Exchange.InfoWorker.Common.Availability.PublicFolderRequest failed. The exception returned is Microsoft.Exchange.InfoWorker.Common.Availability.PublicFolderRequestProcessingException: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.. The request information is http://server-name-domain-name.com/public/?Cmd=freebusy&start=2008-02-23T22:00:00Z&end=2008-04-05T21:00:00Z&interval=30&u=user.name@domain.name.com.. The Availability service could not successfully retrieve Schedule+ free/busy data for one or more legacy Exchange mailboxes. To find the root cause of this error, increase the diagnostic logging level of the MSExchange Availability service.i have used this address from the errorhttp://server-name-domain-name.com/public/?Cmd=freebusy&start=2008-02-23T22:00:00Z&end=2008-04-05T21:00:00Z&interval=30&u=user.name@domain.name.comthe error page is mentioning i have to use httpsi also changed http to https in my browser but then i have to provide a username and password...after providing my user and pwi can see the free/busy information.so if i am right the problem is that exchange2007 is trying to use HTTP and should use HTTPS for the free and busy information.how can i change that setting?thanks for any help
