hi the problem exchange 2003 on 2003 std server ad 2008 r2 the db got big and no room left for gowth i made new db and started to trnsfer user mail box to the new one afte 2 weekes the server crashed and was restored from backup now i got 2 db's one with the old mail boxes and the new with the delta since the change was done 1. to what db should i connect the users so they will be abel to send and recive mail 2. how to merge the old db with the new so no mails will lost

Hi U can follow the way how we used to do for dial tone recovery.Just swaping the database. -bpara

Hi, You can connect the users to the new Database, then use Recovery Storage Group to mount the old database, use Exmerge tool to combine the data. Thanks AllenAllen Song
