You can install Windows Server 2008 in a Windows 2003 domain. You need not raise the functional level of your domain for that reason unless the server you want to install is a domain controller. Hi, If you are looking for communication between Exchange 2003 and Active directory 2008, then the answer is yes but your Exchange must be at lest with SP2.
