Hello, Hmm. Sending chain mails is very common and should not get you blacklisted. Write an Email usage policy to alert personnel that this practice should be discontinued. Find out exactly which blacklist you are on then read their web site and it will give you an idea of how you got on it. It may be that you have an open relay, it may be your IP address is the originator of SPAM. You have to find out what list and how you got there as the first step. The most common cause of being blacklisted is by having a PC on the LAN that is infected with a virus and is spewing out spam. To better control this, close port 25 from LAN Subnet to WAN and open port 25 ONLY from the Exchange server to the WAN. This will permit the Exchange server to send out SMTP traffic and will block any workstation from doing the same. WS's will ONLY be permitted to send E-mail via the Exchange server. This way, if a WS gets infected, it cannot SPAM. To do this, you will need a router that has packet filtering capabilities such as Sonicwall, Cisco, ISA Server, etc. I know the Sonicwall TZ-200 will allow you this type of granular control and it goes for about $ 400.00. There may be some other less expensive firewall/routers that have packet filters, but unfortunately I am not familiar with Netgear, Linksys etc. to say. Also, check to make sure your server is NOT an open relay: http://www.spamhelp.org/shopenrelay/ And finally, check to make sure your Server is not on a dynamic IP address and that it has Reverse DNS PTR. Not having these may land you on some specialized lists like SORBS that keep RBL's of open relays, dynamic ip's, dialup accounts, and others. Hi, Miguel has provided enough information to handle this issue. I would recommend you to change IP address of your outbound SMTP sevrer (exchange 2003) If situation is worst and you are being black listed by so many remote domain. later on you can work on steps provided in above thread. Anil
