exchange 2003 gatewayproxy is not empty
Hello
My recipient policy is currently:
SMTP: xx@yy.com
X400: zzzzzzzzz
I want to add an address principal SMTP:@aaaa.com
The problem is:
- The field gatewayProxy in the Rus is not empty.
My question is:
What will happen if I add the domain principal@aaaa.com in the recipeint policy, then I push "Apply Now"?
What about the list to do? Add the change I made? Or not add the change?
Its necessary I drop manually gatewayproxy with adsiedit??
What will happen if I don't drop manually gatewayproxy parameter??
Regards,

See this KB article:

If the gtewayproxy isn't cleared the RUS will continue to make
unnecessary changes to e-mail addresses in the AD.

Hi,
You need to manually clear the gatewayproxy. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Thanks Gen Lin-MSFT
