exchange 2007 certificate problems
I have an internal domain name of .net and an external of .org the .net is not registered. just updated my UCC certificate and now I get an error that the name on the security certificate does not match the name of the site. when I open up outlook. the detail show the .net is the name its looking for. is there a way to make this work without registering the name?

Implement split dns and modify your CAS urls to use the external namespace http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940726Mike Pfeiffer | blog: mikepfeiffer.net | twitter: @mike_pfeiffer

Hello, To troubleshoot the certificate warning issue, please help to collect the following information: 1. [The screenshot of the certificate warning pop up window] 2. [Collect AutoConfiguration Status in Outlook] =================================== a. While Outlook is running, click the CTRL key and then right-click the Outlook icon in the system tray and then select “Test Email Autoconfiguration”. b. Confirm that your email address is in the address field, uncheck “Use Guessmart” and “secure Guessmart authentication” boxes. Then click the “Test” button. c. Once it runs, please send me a screen shot of the Log tab and Results tab. 3. [CAS server configuration information] ============================= On CAS server, open “Exchange Management Shell” and type the cmdlet: Get-autodiscovervirtualdirectory | fl >c:\auto.txt Get-clientaccessserver | fl >c:\cas.txt Get-ExchangeCertificate |fl >c:\certlog.txt You can reach me at: v-simwu@microsoft.com Thanks, Simon
