exchange 2007 edge server removed
Hello, When I installed exchange 2007 we had an exchange 2003 server. I migrated all users and mailboxes from the old server to the new server. All is working well. I need to remove exchange from the old server. It was acting as an edge server. I created a new receive rule and a new send rule and and changed all the pointers on the firewall to the new server and changed the DNS records. All is working well. Is there any thing else I need to do before I remove the old server and uninstall exchange? I beleive it is showing the old server as the GC gateway for the domain. I checked the registry and the new server is also listed. Will I need to update this? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks Robert Smith
