Perhaps: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/eu/exchangesvradmin/thread/f3ba214f-9923-4931-a6e9-ec10d592144f Do you see the error described in: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948934

I tried that and no luck

When did this start? Any 3rd party software installed? Using BES? Applied latest SP and Rollups? Nothing in the event logs?

it started about 3 days ago when one of the storages failed, some users are up and running and some are not able to delete emails or sorts them properly. Yes we have BES but it is installed on different server and the event log errors: Event Type: Warning Event Source: MSExchange ActiveSync Event Category: Requests Event ID: 1008 Date: 9/11/2011 Time: 11:59:37 AM User: N/A An exception occurred and was handled by Exchange ActiveSync. This may have been caused by an outdated or corrupted ExchangeActiveSync device partnership. This can occur if a user tries to modify the same item from multiple computers. If this is the case, Exchange ActiveSync will re-create the partnership with the device. Items will be updated at the next synchronization

You can ignore that activesync error. When the storage failed, what events were recorded in the event logs? Was Exchange restored or repaired with eseutil? If you move a mailbox to a different store does the problem go away?

we have 4 stores, one of hem is giving the problem, when moving the mailbox to a different store the pb goes away

Then I would move all the mailboxes on that store to another.

is there a way to fix that store?
September 11th, 2011 8:57pm

is there a way to fix that store? You could always run isinteg against it: ISINTEG -s servername -fix -test alltests that requires downtime however when you take the store offline to run those tests. If there is physical damage, isinteg wont fix that however. If all else fails, I would move the mailboxes to a new store and then delete the bad store.

Try solution here, not exactly the same exception stack but worth comparing to see if your IIS permissions are at the default settings. Exchange 2010 - OWA Can't Delete Mails - An Unexpected Error occured and your requeste couldn't be handled http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrgeneral/thread/ce34c9a3-311e-402d-86d4-89fb3773a9b2/James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com
