exchange 2007 on domain win2003
I have a win2003 domain. Can I make a Win2008 64bit member server and install Exchange 2007 on it? If so, what do I need on the W2008 member server installed in order to install exchange 2007? Can I install Exchange 2007 and later make that computer a member server or does it have to be a member server before installing Exchange? Is there a quick and dirty install exchange 2007 step by step? thanks, raul rego ACNJ

Hi Yes, Windows 2003 domain works well And you can use Windows 2008 x64, join it to the domain before and then prepare ad and install exchange Check this link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/bb330842.aspx Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog

Hi jjkgr, Yes, Exchange Server 2007 which installed on Windows 2008 can work well in Windows 2003 domain. Based my experience, you should let your Windows 2008 join in the domain, and then install Exchange Server 2007 on it.
