exchange 2010 - non-read receipt
Hello
using exchange 2010 and outlook 2010, i have question about Read-receit and non-read receipt
the facts :
User1 sends email with read-receipt to User2.
the email is copied (CCi) via exchange 2010 transport rule to User3.
User3 (with outlook 2010 parameters activated : never send read-receipt) deletes email without read it
User1 receives notification : your email was deleted without being read.
How to prevent this ?
Thanks

Just a wild guess - what happens if you speficy BCC instead of CC. Still the same?Jesper Bernle | Blog: http://xchangeserver.wordpress.com

Hi
The easiest way is to disable read receipt on outlook2010 of user3.
You can also disable read receipt on exchange, (I never test bcc)send to user3 -> Remove message header Disposition-Notification-To.
send to user3-> Remove message header Return-Receipt-To.
But it will affect all the email which user3 received.
