hi when I create a email, and in options click request delivery recpt.

I notice when I get the delivery recpt the from address is from outlook.  on exchange 2003 the from user would be postmaster@domain.com.

the problem is when I check my iphone, none of these delivery recpts are on my iphone. 

I think the iphone filters the message because it doesn't like the from address.

any suggestions?

This is known, iPhone (and also Android) will not show you this type of messages. And it's not about the address, it's message type. I think there's nothing you can do.

I have tested in my device and owa, they didn't receive the delivery recpt message, after I sent email from my device or owa.

It seems to be a function of Outlook.

I don't believe it's message type because of you Try read recpt they work fine. Also. In exchange 2003 both work The from sender is from postmaster@domain

But I'm not very clear if there is also the option in Iphone.

what I mean is that the iphone connected to exchange 2003 is able to receive both message type.

a return receipt and a delivery confirmation.

the from user on the iphone displays postmaster@domain.com.

on exchange 2010 the from user in outlook shows outlook.
