Hello, Does this happened for a mail with an attachment or o simple mail? It may be that if it was just a one time issue and now you cant reproduce anymore it might have something to do with the original's mail formatting or with the attachement being corrupt or something. This kind of error is thrown when the message formatting is not right, but the info we have so far is to vague to pin-point the cause.Hope it helps, Mihai

it happens when i have attached files and the email is sent to more recipients. Also it is strange that some users receive the email example: john sends email to 20 users (internal users) - 18 users receive the email - 2 users do not receive the email but the server returns this: ------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Undeliverable: FW: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups: user1 The e-mail system had a problem processing this message. Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. user2 The e-mail system had a problem processing this message. Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Diagnostic information for administrators: Generating server: hubserver user1 #554 5.6.0 STOREDRV.Deliver; Corrupt message content ## user2 #554 5.6.0 STOREDRV.Deliver; Corrupt message content ## Original message headers: Received: from MaiboxServer ([0]) by hubserver ([]) with mapi; Wed, 17 Mar 2010 09:47:00 +0200 Content-Type: application/ms-tnef; name="winmail.dat" Content-Transfer-Encoding: binary From:xxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------------- this is an err message from an user that has outlook 2007 as client

Hello, Try disabling the transport rules and any disclaimer rules you might have.Anyways I did some digging and it looks like a bug. A fix from MS should come out soon as they are aware of this and they already have an active bug request. The thinghs mentioned above are workarounds that should work in certain circumstances.Anyways keep an eye out on the upcoming RU packages that will be rolled out for E14.Hope it helps,Mihai

Is the john an external sender? Could the issue be reproduced on John’s client?
What’s the client that John is using, also outlook 2007?
Does the issue happen to all the users, or some users randomly with no way to reproduce the symptom?
Please reproduce the issue on problematic sender side, and then use pipeline tracing to capture test message’s diagnose info as it encounters transport agents
Notes: After collecting the verbose log file for test message, please disable the pipeline tracing, the files can accumulate quickly
