Hi, 

Users can change some of the details in ECP. If they log on to OWA and select Options (top right) and select accounts -> edit information. They can only change the following

photo

initial

contact location

contact numbers incl. work/home/mobile number and fax

This will sync to AD. It is quite limited options that the user can change though.
