exchange migration gone bad - Legacy address of public folder, x.500 proxy address help!
Hi all, I need some help here, I've recently migrated public folders from 2007 to 2010, I thought all was well and removed the 2007 server(formatted now), before I realised that the mail enabled public folders had an issue, so I mail disabled them then enabled them again, however after doing so internal users could not email the public folder, for instance I have a folder named info, with email info@domain.com, external users can email it fine. I understand that the legacy address is still connected to the public folder and this is the reason for the issue, but all posts I've seen explain that I need to run a shell command on the old server to identify it's legacyexchangeDN attribute, which I can't do since the old exchange is gone. I've read that I need to add the legacyexchangeDN address as an x.500 address to the folder. Which I've tried but failed as I don't believe I've got the correct legacy address. The NDR I receive includes the address which I've tried adding as an x.500 address but still it fails, do I need to change the format from what is seen below? Any help much appreciated, I'm tearing my hair out with this one! /O=domain/OU=EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=932252EBB7E8644A9C67950F15918242-000000001AC4

Just checked some of my mailenabled public folders. You did add it as X500 and not X.500?Martina Miskovic
