exchange server 2013 setup failed , setp 8 of 14: mailbox role: client access service

Hello forum

I am setting exchange 2013 in the domain network. there is no exchange ever being installed before.

I have done all the pre-requisite, and leave the setup running,

surprisingly, I got error

exchange server 2013 setup failed , setp 8 of 14: mailbox role: client access service

Error:

The following error was generated when "$error.Clear();

install-AvailabilityConfig -DomainController $RoleDomainController

" was run: "The Specified directory object cannot be found.".

I got two DCs, one is server 2012, the other is server 2003. I moved all FSMO roles to the server 2012. the primary ointing to the server 2012.  Should I remove the server 2003 as the second dns in the mailserver ipconfig, and re-run setup again? Many Thanks in Advance. Mike Shen

answer my own question here

 I saw the link below

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/16d5e6c4-00a3-4636-a2e0-555c3eda3b03/error-installing-exchange-2013-on-server-2012-with-preexisting-environments-20072010?forum=exchangesvrdeploy

eventually
I run
Setup.EXE /Mode:Install /Roles:ca, mb, t
/IAcceptExchangeServerLicen
seTerms /InstallWindowsComponents

I can't
believe it doesn't throw up an error

I was using GUI install, ie, right
click on setup.exe and run as admin

anyway I will check the installation tommorrow.
