global address list not updating
I have a global address list that has stopped updating. I converted from 2003 to 2007 more thsn a year ago and the problem has just started. I have an address list that I created and that works fine. New users are not showing up and deleted
users are not being removed.
What can I do to update this list?
We have just recently converted to outlook 2007.

Check for the events and eventually increase diagnostics logging for address lists
this may be helpful.. talks about migration from 2003 to 2010 .. may apply to 2007..
check the address-lists section

Hi,
Is the Outlook client working under Cached Mode? Did you check this issue in OWA or Outlook under Online Mode?
We need to confirm the issue is the OAB or GAL.
Thanks

I did hit on something. I took my outlook out of cached mode and it was fine. I created another offline address book and made if the default. Today I put my outlook back in cache mode and now the global address list is updated. I
still need to check others but the cache seems to be the issue. Is there something to clear the cache?

Hi,
You can delete all the .OAB files under %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook on the Client side.
Thanks
