Outlook will not stop sending - caught in an endless sending mode - cannot even delete messages in the outbox. however, i am recieving emails just fine.

any suggestions??? I am ready to hang myself. thanks, mike

From your description, please try the following methods:

 

Delete items when Outlook Offline

 

1.On the Send / Receive tab, in the Preferences group, click Work Offline.

2.Delete items in Outbox

 

Create a new email profile

With the new profile, try to clear the Outbox.
