hooked up a mobile device. getting emails on mobile but not on PC. What do i do?

Do you mean that the mail can only be synchronized to mobile after connected the machine via ActiveSync 4.5?

Please check if the issue can be reproduced on another machine that doesn’t install any third party software
If the issue only happens on a specific machine, please disable all the Non-Microsoft services, and check the issue again
1.
Start->run->msconfig
2.
“Services” tab->check “Hide All Microsoft Services”->click “Disable All” Button
3.
OK and Reboot
