I am using Exchange 2007 and Outlook client 2007. I have created a shared resource calendar but I am unsure on how to grant permissions. I have full access to the calendar so I'm able to make any changes. I would like to set permissions so that a meeting can only be deleted by the person who created the meeting. (besides myself who is the admin). Where do I go to set this up?

You can use Outlook, you can also use pfdavadmin application - http://exchangeshare.wordpress.com/2008/05/27/faq-give-calendar-read-permission-on-all-mailboxes-pfdavadmin/Regards, Konrad Sagala, MCT, MCSE+M, MCITP: Exchange 2007/2010, Lync 2010, Office365, Windows 2008, Virtualization

Hi How did you create your calendar, if it is on a shared mailbox, you have to open Outlook via shared mailbox account and set the permission on the calendar. I suggest you have a look on the below link: How to Set Permissions to a Shared Calendar in Outlook 2007 http://www.ehow.com/how_7197857_set-shared-calendar-outlook-2007.html Hope it helps Cheers Zi Feng TechNet Community Support

You should make new profile with shared calendar mailbox and access it with this profile. Than permissions tab will be available. In Outlook 2010 u can add second Exchange mailbox in one profile, but Outlook 2007 can't. U can also use Power Shell on Exchange server to assign permissions more granullary - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124374(EXCHG.80).aspx http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123879(EXCHG.80).aspxRegards, Konrad Sagala, MCT, MCSE+M, MCITP: Exchange 2007/2010, Lync 2010, Office365, Windows 2008, Virtualization
