how do I move the hub transport server's AD site after installation?
New Exchange installation, on a Windows 2008 (resource) domain. We've set up a CCR mailbox cluster with each of the nodes in a different datacenter. Initially, we had each datacenter as a different AD site, as it was consistent with our previous implementations. The first Exchange server we installed was the hub transport, as it seemed easier. It's in datacenter B, where themailboxclusterpassive node is also located. The active node is in datacenter A. Datacenters A and B were different AD sites, because they were on different subnets, and that's always worked for us. We had to change the AD site topology because of the requirement for both cluster nodes to be in the same AD site. From shortsightedness, we did that after the hub transportserver was set up. Even though the hub transport server is in the datacenter A site, since we reassigned the subnet in AD sites and services (confirmed by running NLTEST /server:hubtransport /dsgetsite), we're still getting error messages from the Best Practices analyzer that we have no hub transport servers in datacenter A. What command do we need to run to move the hub transport server from site B to site A? Do we need to reinstall the hub transport role?

Hello AccuDave, It's not necessary to reinstall the hub transport for sure. Let me ask you what is the value of you DynamicSiteName registry information under netlogon in this box (hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\netlogon). I think you're machine still in the old site, isn't it?
