Hi,
According to your description, I have a couple of questions:
- Which version did you purchased? Office 2013 retail version, Office 365 subscription or other?
They are different, Office 2013 retail key is permanent, they won't expire. Office 365 has subscription plan, it has the end time.
- Did you get any error message when the Office opened failure? If you have, please share us.
If you are using Office 2013 retail version, please try the following steps:
- Run Fix it from the following article to remove all traces of Office 2013 and see if it helps.
