how to delete non existing exchange 2010 from AD
How to delete a old one, non existing exchange server from AD? where i've to pay attention? the nonexisting server had installed only the mailbox role. How can i delete the old databases of that server? thank youLasandro

There is a way to remove old Exchange objects from AD when they can not be properly removed using the Exchange installation tools; but, it can be very dangerous. You can use ADSIEdit to remove the objects directly out of AD; this should be a last resort. Open ADSIEdit, go to the Configuration container, CN=Services, CN=Microsoft Exchange, CN=Administrative Groups, CN=Exchange Administrative Group and then open CN=Databases to remove the databases, and CN=Servers to remove the servers. I have done this for Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 with no problems; luckily I have not had to try it with Exchange 2010. Good luck.TBrennan
