Hi,
You can use this command in Exchange Management Shell to set whatever size you want, but not more than2097151 MB, which is almost 2048GB.
Set-Mailbox YourMBxEmailID -ProhibitSendReceiveQuota 5GB
You can also set this in Exch Management Console by going to mailbox properties->Mailbox Settings->Storage Quota Settings.

Hi,If it is a Exchange 2007 server, then we can modify the settings on storage limitation on per mailbox or on database level. Detail steps you can refer to the article below:Interpreting Status of Storage Quotas via Exchange Management Shell http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/09/20/428965.aspxf mailbox database settings are used as defaults, and the per-mailbox settings are set, the following would take effect in the table below:
Issue Warning : 1,991,680,000 Bytes = 1.9GB
Prohibit Send: 2,099,152,000 Bytes = 2GB
Prohibit Send and Receive: 2,411,520,000 Bytes = 2.3GBNote: Database storage limitation:Storage quotas on the mailbox database

It sounds like it's Exchange 2003, orearlier. You can use ADSIEDIT (or LDP, or VBS, etc.) to modify the valuesdirectly. The GUI won't handle more than 2GB. IIRC it treats the valueas a signed 32-bit integer so only 31 bits are available for use.---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP---

Hi,
I think that for immediate application of the settings u have to restart the information store service on the mailbox server OR just wait for 2 hours as Ed has suggested.
