Open ADUC on the Exchange Server or an a workstation setup to admin Exchange. Find the user, go to properties, Exchange General Tab, Forwarding address, forward to: This will NOT leave the e-mail in the original account. If you want it both places, click the "Deliver messages to both forwarding address and mailbox" box. J.G.

Thank you for your response. The only problem is, is that it's not a regular user. I need to create an e-mail account without it being a user. I.E. Sales@e-mail.com . Do i have to create a sales user account? i still haven't been able to find were i can just create an e-mail address without creating a user or a group. What i have done and was told to do was create a group and then assign users to that group. but than i have to create a different internal group. Pain in the butt.

If this is for one person to receive, you can either create the user and forwarde-mail, or simplyjust add the e-mail address as an additional e-mail address to the existing user that wants to receive the e-mail. So if Joe Smith wants to receive e-mail as jsmith@company.com and sales@company.com, you could just add sales@company.com as another e-mail address to Joe's user account. This would be under the e-mail addresses tab. As long as you leave jsmith@company.com as the primary SMTP address, (The one with capital SMTP and BOLD lettering) he will still send as jsmith@company.com. If this needs to go to multiple people or you think it will be in the future, you should create the group and add the users that want the e-mailto the group. You have to have something to tag the external address to. J.G.
