Hi, Please collect the event log and post here.(Note: start-run-"eventvwr") Besides, please try to start the services from service manager(Note: start-run-"services.msc"). BTW,account that you used to install rollup 3 is the same as one that you used to install Microsoft Exchange sp1? Best regards, Xiu

Hi, I uninstalled rollup 3 and problem was solved; But tonight microsoft update had installed the thing again but owa still works. I think that problem was caused by myself through installing de update with an local user and not an domain user. Transport service problem i solved by opening the settings with exchange system manager and after that the service canstart now. grtz Dave

If you get a Javascript syntax error after applying the rollup when opening OWA, I have seen a couple of circumstances whereanonymous access is removed fromthe 8.1.291.1 folder within the OWA virtual directory in IIS. Enabling anonymous access to this folder will solve the problem without having to go through an uninstall/reinstall. Hope this helps. - Bob

Did you install any other windows security updates which are specially related to tcp/ip or dns dll changes? Since transport service doesn't start I have doubt on their dependencies of networking dlls. You can check Application log with an information log source NTServicePack, which tells you about any security patch installation or check in add/remove programs by clicking show updates and with date if any new windows updateds installed. Check if you have installed any one of these patches, if so then uninstall and try. This has one patch related to DNS & one related to OWA. Microsoft Security Bulletin Summary for July 2008
