Hi, What you need to do is install the Exchange 2007 server in the same as the branch office and move all the users that are working at the branch office to a mailbox on the server there. Also don't forget to place a Hub transport server there because it's needed. You can have a second ISA server in the branch office but you can also use the ISA in the main office, the CAS will redirected the users to the correct mailbox. If course you can also place a CAS in the branch office if it needs to be accesible via the internet you can place an ISA server in front of it. Regards, Johan blog: www.johanveldhuis.nl

Per my knowledge, to failover the mail servers this way is CCR Notes: CCR can cross different physical subnets, but it still requires that mailbox servers stay in the same Site [For Windows Server 2003] Notes: CCR can cross different physical subnets, stretched clusters will no longer require same subnets when spanning over sites [For Windows Server 2008] References: Cluster Continuous Replication (CCR) Deploying an Exchange 2007 CCR Cluster [For Windows Server 2003, for Windows Server 2008]

Hi, Another option is to use SCR which can be perfectly used for DR. Regards, Johan blog: www.johanveldhuis.nl
