iphone sync with exchange 2007
Hi All,
I have exchange server 2007 with latest patches and upgrades. Today, I realized that I am unable to sync my iphone with exchange over the wifi or 3G. Same happens with other users as well. They have following symptoms,
* They have received email on iphone but same email doesn't show on outlook 2007
* Emails deleted from outlook can still be seen on iphone
* I can still receive the new emails to iphone and on delete they get deleted from outlook as well (normal behavior)
* But, having this issue with some emails.
I have tried deleting account from iphone and adding it again but it doesn't works. Any solutions or ideas will be highly appreciated.

That sure sounds like there are Inbox rules on the mailbox, maybe
moving the messages to a PST.

Then remove the ActiveSync partnership from the phone and see if the
problem goes away. If it does then the issue is the phone.

Hi,
Please test Active Sync and OWA. Do not use Outlook for ActiveSync test.

Hi Fiona,
I also realized that when I delete a mail from outlook it takes a while on OWA to be deleted.
I will try the mentioned solutions and get back to you guys,
Thanks for all the support.

That's a problem with cached mode, or you're not realizing the OWA
only refreshes its view of the mailbox periodically -- it's not a
"real-time" view of the folder contents. If you take Outlook out of
cached mode the changes should be visible (more or less) immediately
if you use another session of Outlook (working in non-cached mode) to
watch the mailbox.
