Hello, I'm testing the Disaster Recovery cenario for exchange. For this i have a test domain, in this domain, there are three servers : - 1 DC In windows 2000 plus GC - 1 DC in Windows 2003 - 1 Exchange 2000 server enterprise And the exchange server works fine. In this configuration i suppose that the "setup /forestPrep" and "setup /domainPrep" are allready been done. But When i try to install a new exchange 2000 server with DisasterRecovery Option, the installation process display that, i need to do : "Setup /forestPrep" and "setup /DomainPrep" And i don't understand this response. I suppose that the process installation can not join correctly the domain, may be, may be not, i don't know. and that's why it display that the forest and the domain are not ready for exchange 2000. You need to install the Exchange without /DisasterRecovery option. The reason is Your current Test Domain donot have information about your exchange yet. Hello, It's resolved. I had a wrong dns configuration, i fixed it. Now i can install exchange in DR mode Best Regards Romain
