lifting squareroot in excell

I'm in need of lifting this squareoot in excell so i can change numbers in future when calculating (mainly the number "4.85")

The result of this formula is 3.21

What i also need is the simple textcode to insert it in excell so i can choose the numbers or fields with numbers to be used.

My english is not the best, but i hope the problem is described properly.

Hi Jan,

Please note the values in the colored cells can be edited to get the Output in the Final Root Cells.

Open and type the data as shown below. Starting from Cell: A1

Formula View:

Num

Num^Power

Num^(1/Power)

Total

=(A2*A3*A4^B4)/(A5^B5-A6^B6)

4.85

Final Root

    =B7^(1/C7)

NOTE:- Formulas are only in the Total and Final Root right adjacent cells.

You can copy paste the formulas directly to Excel. Make sure you don't drag\move the input cells once formula is set.

Total

=(A2*A3*A4^B4)/(A5^B5-A6^B6)

 
Final Root

=B7^(1/C7)
