live messanger behaving strangely
last night while using msn live messanger I got a random link that the user I was talking with did not send me
username.is-that-you.com
and today
username.is-thatt-you.com
I was dumb enough to click on the link. it opened to a login screen wanting windows live username and login password. I did not give that.. reading the contract below it suggested, That the site would log into my account and send adverts and links to others on my contact list.
The user I was talking with said they had not seen such a link b4 themselves.
is this a rootkit, a virus?? and how does one get rid of it
many many thanks.
