Is it feasible to prohibit (at the server level) employees from setting up auto-forwarding outside of our company. In other words, allow inside the company but not allow to external parties?

Hi, In addition Rich’s reply, if you are using Exchange server 2003, to achieve your goal, you should uncheck “Allow automatic forward” in the Advance tab of the Default Properties. If you are using Exchange 2007/2010, right-click Default and choose Properties, on the tab named “Format of original message sent as attachment to journal report:” (Exchange 2007) or “Message Format” (Exchange 2010), you can enable or disable the automatic forwarding.
