It seems that corruption in the Outlook Data File is impairing it and you should immediately perform a repair action.
Follow the given path and run the .exe file of scanpst.exe (Its an inbuilt repair tool provided by MS-Office):

drive:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12
But truly speaking, scanpst.exe get fails in 90% corruption issues while repairing and it is not much reliable at some extent. You can also download your sent items via IMAP account, just create an IMAP account in the Microsoft Outlook and it will synchronize
the entire database of your web based account in the email client application.
At last, you can go for free version of any advance third party utility which could help to
recover or repair PST File.
