mailbox management in Exchange 2007
Hi Experts
I have had this strange issue going on for a long time now.
We have started using mailbox management for our mailboxes and it has been setup correctly which I can assure you.
However, it doesn't work all the time. Sometimes it works some times it doesn't.
My main question and the main problem is that there is hardly any monitoring or troubleshooting tool that is available.
The diag logging is set to maximum and still there are nothing but just successful events in the event logs.
If something is not working, there should be a way to troubleshoot.
1. Has the configuration been done correctly?
2. If so, does the mailbox management policy apply to the mailbox properly?
3. If so, is the criteria for mailbox management incorrect? i.e. if you set to retain messages for like 5 years, you will hardly see any messages being deleted etc.
So has anyone come acroos any method of troubleshooting the mailbox magement policies?

See the "set-mailboxserver" cmdlet.
-JournalingLogForManagedFoldersEnabled
-LogDirectorySizeLimitForManagedFolders
-LogFileAgeLimitForManagedFolders
-LogPathForManagedFolders

Hi Dhaval,
Any updates on this issue?
I think it is better for you install all the latest updates and then check for the issue.
Thanks,
