mailbox restore confirmation
Hi, I restored some old email messages to one mailbox in exchange 2010 with symantec exec 2010. I need to make sure that messages were restored without requesting client for confirmation. is any way to do this. p.s. I dont have any information about mailbox before restore. thanks n

Hi, This would be bit complicate but you can try if there is no solution avail. You can restore the same mailbox with Test account and compare the mail items. Kottees : My Blog : Please mark it as an answer if it really helps you.

Give yourself full mailbox access to the mailbox and open it with Outlook to verify that the messages are in the correct folders. > >p.s. You say you dont have any information about the mailbox before the restore, how are you going to know that all items have been restored, you have nothing to compare with. All you can say/check is that the restore completed successfully and assume all the items are there.Sukh
