Thanks James i will check , we have exchange version - 6.0.6249:4 Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 SP3.is that something Sysadmin needs to make changes to public folders config or is that related to development hand i mean make changes to site where messges comes from ?Thanks,Bala.

According to KB 817809, please apply August 2004 Exchange 2000 Server Post-Service Pack 3 Update Rollup at first, KB 870540 indicates that the rollup has contains the hotfixes for this issue. Then, we can use the procedure in the KB 817809 to change the registry
