manages the ESE cache memory Exchange 2013

The store.server.exe process also manages
the ESE cache memory allocation and the biggest change for exchange 2013 (on top
of all other changes) in memory management is definitely that there is a maximum
limit to the memory used by the store process. Only 25% of the total memory in a
server can be allocated to the ESE cache based on the active and maximum active
databases values. Do note that passive databases get only 20% of the memory
allocated compared to an active database.

Is it possible to tweak Exchange 2013 to use more memory for cache??

Hi

In general, we only want to limit database cache for ESE cache , but if you want to increase it , you can try to changemsExchESEParamCacheSizeMaxvalue .

  1. Start ADSIEDIT.msc
  2. Navigate to Configuration > Services > Microsoft Exchange > <Organization Name> > Administrative Groups > <Administrative Group> > Servers > <Server Name> > InformationStore

Im not very sure if this is what do you want, if I misunderstand your meaning, please correct me.
