message delivery restrictions
We have 3 mail enabled distribution groups as
hr@mydomain.com
ac@mydomain.com
logs@mydomain.com
We have now created a new distribution group
it@mydomain.com , the members of this domain are
user1@mydomain.com
user2@mydomain.com
user3@mydomain.com
We need to enable delivery restrictions to this email as below
1. Only accept messages from
User1, User2 & User3 hr logs
Any mails from user4, ac@mydomain.com must be rejected.
any mails from external domains like hotmail, gmail etc must also be rejected.
someone please help me resolve this.
thank you in advance.

You can go to the Properties of the distribution group in exchange >> then go to Mailflow settings >> Go to Message Delivery Restrictions : there you can set acceptance or rejection , internally as well as external.
to check the option - requires that all sender are authticated means whoever is not authenticated as per your domain will not be able to send the message to that particular DL.

Hi,
I have a similar situation.
Now we unchecked the checkbox for Require that all senders are authenticated to receive the outside user.
Now Boss asked me if I can find the emails from the outside users before allowing the outside user.
Is it possible to find and retrieve the messages from outside users which had been restricted before being allowed?
if then, How can I get those???
Thanks.
