messages coming back every monday
I've looked around quite a bit and cant seem to find an answer..Using Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003 - non cached mode.I have a user that every monday morning when he starts his outlook all of his messages for the last two weeks come back. It seems everything he has deleted in the last 2 weeks comes back to his inbox.Anyone have any ideas? I've played around with his outlook settings quite a bit, but no luck. Being non-cached mode, Im thinking this could be more of an exchange problem? Thanks in advance,Jerry

Weird. Does he have any extensions or add-ins installed in to Outlook? Do the messages come back in as "unread"? Does he have any PST files in his profile? Any rules? Jim McBee - Blog - http://mostlyexchange.blogspot.com

My thoughts exactly!I dont believe there are any add-ins other then the McAfee scanner.Yes, all of the messages show as unread. I dont believe he has any rules, but I'll double check on that one.woulda PST file would matter since we dont run in cached mode? that might be worth checking into. My next thing to try was to delete the outlook profile (control pannel, mail, profiles) and re-add it to see if that would make a difference (that has fixed other minor problems in the past). One of the worst parts about this problem is it only happens on Mondays. So when I make a change it's a week before I know if it helped.

Hi Jerry,
In oder to narrow down the issue, I suggest you close Outlook in Sunday, then check the email via OWA in Monday. If the issue persists, it's a server side issue.
Thanks,
Elvis
