migrating exchange 2003 to exchange 2003
I have an exchange 2003 server installed in a 2003 DC in very old hardware, I have to migrate the email server (exch 2003) to a Virtual Machine, could anyone provide
me with links with documentation and tips on how to do this?
P2V is not an option.
Thanks in advance

I would suggest you migrate to Exchange 2010 rather than 2003 again.
Once you introduce Windows 2008, you will have HyperV and install the Exchange 2010 in virtual machine.

1. I'd do what Gulab has mentioned unless you have a business/technical requirement which can't be met with exch 2010.
2. If you decide to go with your choice, then there are some restrictions with exch 2003 and virtualisaition and compared with exch 2007/2010. See below.
