missing emails

When I create a folder to keep emails and drag them over they (the emails) disappear.  The folder will show amount of data

that is there but the emails themselves are none existent?  Has anyone run across this?  JP

Hi,

I guess there are some views/filters set to the folder. Try selecting the folder, clicking View tab > View Settings. Click the Reset Current View button and then check the folder again.

Please let me know the result.

As above, ensure that there's not filters on the folder.

This can occur when either using IMAP or after importing a PST which was exported from an IMAP account.

As already proposed by Steve Fan, check for example if the view in the folder is set to "Unread Elements". In this case all read elements are not being displayed,  but the count remains correct.

If still you are unable to find your emails data then you can use third party pst recovery tools which can recovery your emails data instantly.
