ms exchange transport service starting with no progress
Hi everyone
I installed windows server 2008 datacenter on a microsoft virtual machine, and created a Domain flawlessly. when i tried to install the 32bit trial version of exchange 2007 server sp3 on the same machine, all required roles and features were installed
perfetly .But when running the Hub Transport setup it freezes at 97% of completion then it fails, giving a message stating that ms exchange transport service could not be started.
I tried everything, from starting the service manually using CMDlet to reinstalling exchange server on the machine .
what can i do?

Can you try and install Exch on a member server and not a DC?
Also, I assume this is for testing as 32bit isnt supported on production systems?
What does the setup.log say?Sukh

Hi
Please try to Rename the "Data" Folder and start the service again.
The folder is under
...\Microsoft\Exchange Server\TransportRoles\data
That might caused by the corruption in Queue &
IPFilter under Data folder.
Hope it helps
