msosync.exe 100% CPU usage

How do I shut it down

Hi,

If msosync.exe is taking 100% CPU usage, it seems you still have something in Office to sync with your network service, such as OneDrive, my suggestion is to wait and when all files are synced, it should not take that much CPU usage.

If you need to turn it off directly, open the Task Manager and go to Details tab, right click on msosync.exe, click End Task to shut it down.

I suggest you open the Upload Center, open the Settings and click "Delete cached files". If the issue was caused by the corrupted cached files, this will fix it.
