after latest update to word for mac 14.3.6 my word is freezing up...and I have force quit

any ideas why is that?

Try to repair Office to check the issue.

And try to start Word in safe mode to check whether the issue is caused by some add-ins.

Also, if the issue still occurs to safe mode, try to start Windows in clean boot to check whether the issue is caused by some third party services.
