need assistance with outlook 2002
I am a technician. I have an issue with Outlook 2002 that is on a machine of one of my clients. The issue he is having is that he cannot send or receive emails to his outlook. He is using POP3 not exchange. I have verfied his settings with a co-worker who is receiving emails. The settings are good. I have also re-built the users profile, ran detect and repair, ran 2 hotfixes that I got from Microsoft. Nothing seems to work. Please assist. Thank You

Does it work with another client - like Outlook Express? What exactly happens? Any errors? Anything in the event logs?

Hi,Any update?Yes, What exactly happens? And Please check whether he can send or receive mails via OWA.If it is possible, please use another user account to log on the problematic client to run outlook(POP3).And use the problematic user account to log on to another client computer to test.Or even install Outlook 2003/2007 with latest patch to test.Frank Wang

sorry I neglected to say that the clients email is working fine. He can check it via webmail. The issue seems to be software related.
