need to queue mail for remote site during server move
Hello- I have two Exchange 2003 servers. One in New York one in Oak Brook. Mail flow comes in Oak Brook and delivers to the New York server that mail which is destined for users whose mailboxes are homed on that server. The New York Exchange server is moving to a new location. I would like to know how to queue mail for the New York server when it will be offline. I have tried taking the New York server offline, but mail just bounces for addresses bound for New York instead of queueing in Oak Brook. Thanks- Scott

Hmmm. That doesnt sound right. If the Exchange server accepts the message, it should queue there until it times out. How are these 2 servers connected? Are they in the same Exchange org? Different routing groups? When it bounces, what is the NDR senders get?
