new-receiveconnector failed
Active directory response: 00000057: LdapErr:DSID-0c090c30. comment: Error in attribute conversion operation, data 0, v1db0.
Environment details:
OS: Windows 2008 SP2
Exchange Version: Exchange 2007 SP3 RU1
I had reviewed Knowledge Base Article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2457729. I would like to understand the impact on the Exchange environment if Setup.com /prepareschema is run again?

Yes it's safe to run again. I would run setup /p (which is setup /prepareAD) This actually runs and verifies that schema has been properly extended through verification tasks and if not will re-run setup /prepareschema.
There are times when people need to re-run setup /p (which also does setup /ps) such as in instances when users accidently delete the Exchange security groups or mucked around with some settings in adsiedit or mucked with permission settings beyond fixing
without great level of effort.
